We are looking for a User Experience Research Intern who is passionate about delivering leading-edge user experiences on smartphones, wearables and other devices to join our team.
UX research interns assist in the design and execution of research studies from concept generation through product release, including planning studies, moderating study sessions, writing reports, creating video highlights and presenting results. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of coursework and/or experience enabling strong contributions in user experience research studies. UX researchers must work effectively with designers, program managers, and hardware and software engineers in a highly collaborative environment. This position demands an individual that is organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Good visual and verbal presentation skills are a must.
We are looking for an intern to work with us starting in January 2018 through March 2018. Extension of the internship through Summer 2018 is possible at Samsung’s discretion.
Currently enrolled in and having completed one year of study in a 2-year Masters program or a Doctoral program in an accredited college or university in Experimental, Applied, or Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Ergonomics or a related field
Interest in conducting research on health-related services for a variety of mobile products. Able to plan, conduct, moderate, analyze and present results (both visually and verbally) of empirical research studies with human participants. Survey and other quantitative research skills a plus.
