Samsung Internet is one of the top mobile web browsers worldwide, with hundreds of millions of users. As one of the top contributors to the open source Chromium project, Samsung is helping to advance the web platform, improving the experience of using the web for people across the globe.

The staff software engineer will rapidly define, design, implement, optimize, and evolve Samsung’s next generation Android based mobile and VR browser. The work will be focused more on the application level.
Smart, analytical, and creative problem solver
Great verbal and written communication skills
Professional experience with Java
Good understanding of Android internals (including 2D and 3D rendering)
4+ years in software development
Other Desirable Traits:
Strong interest in mobile technology
Experience with graphics development (either in the platform/OpenGL level) or Web (WebGL) level is a plus
VR/AR experience is a plus (WebVR) but not required
Previous web engine (webkit/chromium/gecko) development experience is a plus but not required
MS or PHD in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
