GPU Architecture Modeling Engineer – Compute

This position is for cross-functional, multi-scale, System-Integration aspects of developing bit-accurate GPU functional simulations in C++, based on OpenGL(-ES) and/or DirectX API, Hardware (micro-)architecture and Software specifications. You will work closely with multiple teams – Architecture, Hardware, Verification, Compiler, Driver, Tools/Infrastructure. You will play a central role in coordinating the execution of Hardware development by keeping the “big picture” in mind when developing unit-level and GPU-level models, and associated directed tests, that validate (micro-)Architecture specifications, Software implementations and become the golden reference for RTL Verification. In addition, you can design tools and infrastructure to assist project execution. The ideal candidate will have had significant previous experience in independent, creative problem-characterization and solving related to Hardware/Software cross-cutting issues, or exhibit demonstrable excitement and intuition in growing beyond previous experience, to cover the full spectrum of System Integration. The candidate is expected to assume responsibility for her/his deliverables and to be able to work with agility in a dynamic environment.
Solid understanding in computer architecture and modern GPGPU.
· Past experience in designing architecture simulation models or working with hardware/software cross-cutting issues.
Strong programming skills in C++, algorithms, data structures, and scripting languages.
Comfortable in writing code in assembly language.
Knowledge of GPU and graphics pipelines.
